Chicago Lunar New Year Parade 2024 Schedule. The city is welcoming the year of the dragon from feb. Chinese new year falls on saturday, february 10, 2024 (year of the dragon, 4721), and the lunar new year parade will place on sunday, february 18, 2024.

The parade will begin at 1:00 p.m. For more than 40 years the uptown neighborhood has come together to host its lunar new year parade in conjunction with over 20 local businesses and community leaders.
